Friday, January 22, 2010- Today started like most of the others, I got up at around 9:30-10:00am. I went downstairs and talked with my dad to see if he had got my car fixed, which he was in the process of that. Then I checked the table to see what I had to do today: nothing much. I have to sweep the floors and water the plants. So I did that and then watched t.v till about 12:00 noon. At that point I went to the kitchen to grab something for lunch. Once that was done I went up stairs to my room to grab some laundry to put in the washer. Once that was done I watched a little bit more of t.v till 2:00pm. At 2:00pm I need to start getting ready for work. I left my house at 3:00pm and arrived at work around 3:45pm. Got out at 9:00pm and drove home. Once at home talked with my mother and then went to bed around 11:00pm.
Saturday, January 23, 2010- Today I have the day off and was up at 8:00pm because my body was telling me something I guess. Help my mom around the house making sure that it was clean. Once that had been accomplished, I grabbed some lunch and got ready to head out. By 2:00pm I was in my car headed for my best friends house where I was going to hang with her for the afternoon. Once there I talked with her and her mom for a while, and interacted/played with her two younger brothers and before I knew it, it was time for me to head home for dinner. When I got home I ate dinner and went upstairs to finish my math homework. After that was completed I watched t.v till I went to bed around 1:00am.
Sunday, January 24, 2010- Nothing really happened today except I had to work 12-7. When I got out of work all the employees that I work with went over to the Olive Garden in Bangor and had our company after season party. Had a grewat time and great food. Ended up with most of us throwing mint wrappers and food! Always great times when we all get together...

- Im am a full time student at EMCC. I have this semester and then all of next year to finish my degree. When I done school I will have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and I will have or be close to my Ed Tech 3. I enjoy being around my family and friends. My best friends family is very important to me and I love those kids. Im not shy, or laid back, and I am up for anything.

Theme Week One: a journal of daily life and living

Sunday, January 17, 2010: Today I was up at 8:00am to be ready to leave my house by 9:00am. At 9:00am I jumped in the car and was off to Bangor to go to work. I arrive at Toys R Us (work) by 9:45am and head inside. My work day is sheduled for 10-6. I was left by myself to run as a cashier and run the service desk which I do both of. When the assistance manager came in (which he is my boss) he told me that if we stayed this slow I could leave at 5:00pm, which is what happened. When I got home I ate dinner and was in my room till I fell asleep around 1:00am.
Monday, January 18, 2010: Today was the same as yesterday, except I got up at 9:00am to leave at 10:00am. I had to work at 11-6 today. I went to work and ran the service desk for a good portion of the day. The other point I did odd jobs around the front of the store as we were not that busy. I got to leave at around 4:30pm that afternoon because of us being that slow. After work I made a stop a Best Buy and then headed home. When I got home I made myself something to eat, took a shower, and went upstaris till 8:00pm. At 8:00pm I went came downstaris to watch my weekly t.v show with my twin sister. At 9:00pm when it was over I went upstaris till I went to bed around 12:30-1:00am.
Tuesday, January 19, 2010: Today is the first day of 2nd semester classes and I have the pleasure of not having any classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Firdays (yeah me). Today I did no much of anything. I did some little things around the house, cleaned some of my room, and made a few phone calls. The rest of the day I watched some movies, old family movies, and watched some DVD's. When my mother got home we talked about our days and I told her about the past couple of days since we were both busy. I made dinner that night which I had not done in a while. Played a game on the Xbox 360 with my brother and went to my room to read my book and played on the computer till I fell asleep at 11:30pm.
Wednesday, January 20, 2010: Today I was up at 10:00am and grabbed a shower. Had something to eat for lunch and got dressed. I made sure that I had all of my work stuff ready. I grabbed a frozen dinner and left it with my work clothes. At 12:00 noon, I grabbed everything and headed out the door for Bangor. When I got to the campus I went to Maine Hall and headed for my classroom. When I got there I set my stuff sown and then went to go get my math book. When I came back to the classroom the whole room was filled up. Out of the 18 students, 17 of them were boys. I'm the only female in the class besides the teacher. At 2:15pm I got out of class and headed straight for work. I finished out my day at work at 9:00pm. When I got home at 10:00pm I went straight to my room and crashed by 1:30am.
Thursday, January 21, 2010: Today I got up at 10:30am with the sound of my father on the roof scraping away the snow. Once he realized that I was up, he asked me to help with a couple of things. When I was done helping him I grabbed lunch and watched t.v. At 3:00pm I got ready for school. At 3:30pm I went out to start my car and realized that it would not start (been having that problem lately). So my father got his stuff ready for him night at work and took me to school. The school that I went to was located in Bucksport, Me. It is for my ITV class that I'm taking. When that class ended at 6:30pm I went home and grabbed dinner. Then grabbed a shower and went upstairs to help my sister out with her hair. Then when I was done I surffed the internet and then came to hear to do my assignment. Heading for bed soon and will be back tomorrow. Night! -Alicia-
